The forum showcased Xiamen's exemplary efforts in fields such as green materials, zero-carbon industrial parks, the circular economy, and low-carbon technologies, highlighting the "Xiamen Model" for creating a green development value chain and offering global investors and innovators new opportunities in the green development sector.
It brought together representatives from international organizations, industry associations, financial institutions, think tanks, and enterprises to discuss the green transformation of cities in order to translate the consensus on sustainable development into concrete actions.
Multiple participants from international organizations shared their insights on international standards in green design, the low-carbon transition of the hospitality industry and resilience in coastal cities. They compared international experiences with Xiamen's rich marine endowments and strong industrial foundation to explore pathways for urban green transformation from a global perspective.

The event unveiled several innovative and exemplary sustainable projects, focusing on green service systems, technological innovation, and the circular economy, which represents the latest practice in promoting green and low-carbon transformation in the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (XMFTZ).
Launched on March 26, the XMFTZ Global Innovation Center for Sustainable Development has been pivotal in this transformation, leveraging global ESG resources to support local industries.
