The 7th Supply Chain Management Annual Conference, hosted by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP), was held on Sept 10 at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.
As China's most influential platform for exchange among industry, academia, and supply chain research, this year's conference drew about 3,000 delegates from government, industry, academia, and research circles to discuss the direction and pathways for supply chain transformation and upgrading in the age of AI.
Xiamen's latest explorations and interim results in "AI + supply chain" drew considerable attention.

In 2025, Xiamen was approved to build a national AI application pilot testing base in the international logistics and supply chain sector, aiming to shift supply chains from experience-based decision-making to data-driven operations.
Results from the pilot base have already been applied in multiple scenarios at companies such as C&D Group, ITG Holding, and XMXYG.

CFLP, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Administration of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone also signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement to work together on supply chain innovation, talent exchange, international cooperation, and policy research, building a "Xiamen model" for high-quality supply chain development.
