A special event on cross-border AI tokens and computing power exports was recently held at the Xiamen International Expo Center, where the world's first cross-border RMB clearing and settlement mechanism for computing power exports was announced.
The mechanism links companies, banks, and participants in China's Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS) across both payment and receipt flows, connecting computing power networks with cross-border RMB settlement channels in both directions.
From the launch of Fujian's first full-stack token factory to the first order placed during an Ethiopian e-commerce livestream and now the world's first RMB clearing and settlement system, Xiamen's AI token exports are off to a strong start.

As the computing backbone of Xiamen International Data Hub, the city's full-stack token processing facility now offers capabilities including computing power scheduling, overall business security control and a unified service portal.
Its cross-border network latency has been cut by an additional 30 percent, and it is in talks with 118 companies. It has helped 10 companies begin overseas trials and has processed 135.2 billion tokens in total.
The Xiamen International Data Hub and its service arm, the International Data Service Center, were officially launched, offering companies one-stop services ranging from policy advice to coordination and matchmaking — a key step toward building an end-to-end service system for cross-border data.
