The second "Art Without Boundaries" and "Viki Lulu House" Young Artists Overseas Tour featuring 16 young Chinese artists opened in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 11. It will run through Nov 10 at the Ruang Teduh art space in TRX Exchange, the Malaysian capital's financial district.
Titled "New Voyage to Nanyang (Southeast Asia)", the show was organized by the Autumn Mosaic Art Center and forms part of its young artist incubation program, "Viki Lulu House". It marks the first overseas stop of a planned tour.

The exhibition features dozens of contemporary works spanning painting, sculpture, installation, video, ceramics, street art, and digital art. Artists were selected by an international jury of Chinese and Malaysian experts after several rounds of review.
Organizers said the event has been upgraded across five areas: academic standards, the lineup of artists, the incubation system, media reach, and commercial partnerships — with a focus on professionalism, international reach and long-term impact.

Nanyang refers to the historical ties between China and Southeast Asia. The theme reflects a renewed push to connect Chinese contemporary art with audiences in the region.
By placing the exhibition in a major financial district, organizers hope to reach beyond traditional gallery audiences and open new opportunities for young Chinese artists overseas.
The Kuala Lumpur show is the first stop on the tour, with further destinations to be announced.
