The Google Cross-Border E-Commerce Acceleration Program was officially launched at the opening ceremony of the 2024 China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-Commerce Expo on June 26.
The first cross-border e-commerce acceleration center will be established in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone and is expected to become China's premier industrial base for e-commerce exclusive websites expanding globally.
The program will address key challenges faced by e-commerce independent website sellers, such as getting started, recruiting talent, and managing international operations.
It will provide support in three main areas: marketing support for e-commerce independent website merchants, market education and empowerment, and fostering an e-commerce exclusive website ecosystem. This initiative aims to assist Xiamen's cross-border e-commerce sellers in expanding into global markets through e-commerce exclusive websites.
The program will also tailor market activities and content planning to the characteristics of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Xiamen and its surrounding areas, as well as offer exclusive online promotional channels and in-person dedicated coaching.
Yuguo Cross-border, based in the Xiamen FTZ, will leverage its local team and national market resources to support the planning and implementation of various center activities. The center will serve as the core for recruiting and servicing local Google e-commerce exclusive websites.
