The China (Xiamen) International Trade Single Window – administered by the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, located in East China's Fujian province – is helping to boost the zone's business in a big way.
The innovation is said to reflect its moves to develop strongly, to realize higher efficiency in cross-border trade since its establishment in 2015.

The single window has nine functional modules covering such fields as logistics, finance and cross-border e-commerce.
Earlier this year, the single window carried out various activities designed to facilitate safety – including regular self-inspections, duplications of core data, strict implementation of a 24/7 duty system and multimedia publicity.
Specific functions have been added to the single window. In terms of logistics, it is said to be the first in China to give whole-process information. In finance, it allows all port-related companies to handle online processing of domestic foreign exchanges for sea freight.

In 2022, the number of newly registered enterprises on the platform reached 9,874, up 6.6 percent year-on-year. In addition, it obtained full marks in a local customer service performance assessment for a successive 12 months.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Xiamen International Trade Single Window to accelerate the establishment of a world-class business environment in the current year – and to improve trade facilitation through its unique mode of "one window, one platform, one application and other related processes".
