The HiSilk Artwork Center – located in the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, in East China's Fujian province – received national recognition recently.

In a designation authorized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, it got the green light to be listed among 11 places as centers that embrace new types of literary and art organizations and groups.

The latter include private cultural studios, private cultural brokerage institutions and online art communities. They include new literary and art groups such as online writers, contract writers, freelance writers, independent producers, independent actors and singers and freelance artists.

The latest recognition follows an honor given in December, when the HiSilk Artwork Center was officially listed as a center for provincial literary and art practice.

The HiSilk Artwork Center is a culture institution that provides a large number of diverse commodities with a series of value-added services to the public. It aims to be a one-stop international bonded transaction platform for artworks and a supply chain both for online and on-site needs.

To date, HiSilk Artwork Center has worked with over 200 art bodies and 600 artists and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, to push ahead with projects in 18 main categories.
