As a primary focus, the opening ceremony of the Industry Leasing League and a signing ceremony for major projects were held at the event.

The first group of the members in the leasing league comes from 17 businesses around the country – operating in such fields as international trade, shipping logistics and financial services.

At the signing ceremony, three enterprises – Aerospace Science & Industry Financial Leasing Co Ltd, Express Airline Co Ltd and YTO Express (Logistics) Co Ltd – signed strategic cooperation contracts with the administration committee of the Xiamen FTZ.

To top it off, the themed event comprised a main forum, six sub-forums and over 40 sharing sessions.

At the main forum, financial giants took to the floor to share their opinions about the status quo and development trends of domestic industries – including leading economist Long Yongtu and Lian Ping, the director-general of the China Chief Economist Forum.

It has also attracted many of the financial leasing enterprises to have operations there and covers such fields as vehicles, medical equipment and integrated circuits. Its leasing assets currently reached over 100 billion yuan ($14.52 billion).
