The Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone launched a service center to aid with the development of Taiwan businesses and a platform that facilitates the sharing of cross-Strait industrial standards on June 8.
The service center will collaborate with a Taiwan-funded human resource services agency and a law firm specializing in cross-Strait affairs to provide services in these two fields.
The service model focuses on addressing challenges faced by Taiwan entrepreneurs and businesses in Xiamen, and is supported by various departments, research institutes, universities, and professional service providers. The center offers specialized services for seven categories.
The cross-Strait industrial standards sharing platform set up on the same day will provide comprehensive standardization services for cross-Strait institutions and businesses. The platform facilitates the resolution of difficulties arising from differences in policies, regulations, and standards between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, making it easier for Taiwan entrepreneurs and businesses to access opportunities in Xiamen.
