Xiamen city in East China's Fujian province recently implemented 28 new measures to further improve its business environment.
These measures aim to establish a well-regulated and law-based market, facilitate the "dual circulation" economic growth model, and promote innovation.
Many of these measures are closely linked to the Xiamen Area of the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone. They are mainly focused on driving the development of an open and innovative hub within the free trade zone, establishing a digital free trade area, an international trade single window platform, a legal system prioritizing the free trade zone, and a cluster for intellectual property services.
Efforts will also be made to enhance multimodal transport, establish an offshore trade innovation zone, and improve dispute resolution systems.
