First Maker recognized as Xiamen Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Center

The First Maker Cross-Strait Intelligent Robert Incubation Space, which is located in the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, was recently listed among the third batch of Xiamen Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Centers.

Established in 2015, First Maker is an offline entrepreneurship incubation service brand in the Xiamen FTZ. It focuses on supporting youth innovation and entrepreneurship services across the Taiwan Strait and promoting the integration of cross-Strait cultural and creative industries.

The brand currently operates five offline incubation bases covering 30,000 square meters that accommodates over 5,000 entrepreneurs. It has incubated more than 1,800 entrepreneurial teams and enterprises and has more than 5,000 incubators. Over 60 settled enterprises have been identified as national and Xiamen municipal high-tech enterprises, and more than 200 teams have received early project financing and policy support.

Through partnerships with Taiwan maker organizations, First Maker has facilitated the importation of over 210 Taiwan enterprises and teams, and attracted more than 500 Taiwan entrepreneurial youths to Xiamen. It has received support funds exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.39 million) as a result of these collaborations.
