Xiamen signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Honeywell recently. Cui Yonghui, secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, met with Yu Feng, president of Honeywell China, for in-depth discussions on expanding cooperation, with the two witnessing the signing ceremony together.
Cui stated that Honeywell is a multinational company that holds a leading position in global diversified technology and manufacturing, and is a longtime friend of Xiamen. Xiamen and Honeywell have a long history of cooperation, with fruitful results.
The industrial development direction of Xiamen aligns with Honeywell's business segments. This agreement will serve as a new starting point, deepening collaboration in the aviation industry while exploring opportunities for expansion.
Xiamen and Honeywell are striving to strengthen connections in areas such as intelligent buildings, new energy, and new materials, aiming to plan and establish more practical cooperative projects.
Yu expressed his gratitude for Xiamen's supportive role towards business development. He praised Xiamen for its vibrant economy, urban competitiveness, and highly professional and efficient government services.
He said he hopes that Xiamen and Honeywell will maintain close contact, turn opportunities into business prospects, and convert them into projects, thereby promoting continuous cooperation.
Xiamen was one of the first regions in China to develop an aviation maintenance industry. After more than 20 years of development, the city has become a significant aviation maintenance base in China. Since the establishment of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, there has been an active effort to build a key aviation maintenance platform.
