Flight MF8991, loaded with e-commerce products, flowers, mechanical parts, and other goods, took off from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and landed at Manila International Airport, the capital of the Philippines, after a three-hour flight on Feb 26, marking the official opening of the Xiamen-Manila international cargo route by Air Road Logistics.

The Xiamen-Manila route is the first regular international route operated by Air Road Logistics and the first all-cargo regular route from Xiamen to Manila. With five flights per week, it will offer a more convenient and efficient route between southeastern China and Southeast Asia.

Based on national policies and company market research, Air Road Logistics plans to first layout all-cargo aircraft capacity on the Southeast Asia route, with a focus on the supply chain in the Philippines, striving to help strengthen economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.

In addition, Air Road Logistics will gradually open up an air route between Xiamen and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as other Southeast Asian countries, meeting the import and export demands for agricultural products and raw materials.

It is striving to establish itself as a model for interconnectedness among national aviation logistics enterprises participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, and is committed to promoting regional cooperation and development in the Air Silk Road.
