Six new "Silk Road Maritime" routes were recently announced at the 2024 "Silk Road Maritime" Annual Meeting and the Cultural Exchange Conference on "Silk Road Maritime", both of which were held in Quanzhou, Fujian province. Among them, three routes either originate from or call at Xiamen Port.

To date, the number of "Silk Road Maritime" routes has reached 122, connecting 135 ports in 46 countries and regions globally. They inject strong momentum into international port and shipping cooperation.

Xiamen Port serves as the starting point and core hub of the "Silk Road Maritime". As of today, Xiamen Port is part of a total of 61 such routes (including 1 bulk cargo route), receiving over 10,000 vessels.

As the first and largest international comprehensive logistics service platform for shipping under the Belt and Road Initiative, the "Silk Road Maritime" is entering its 6th year, receiving positive responses and support from over 300 global partners.

During this year's annual meeting, nine enterprises and institutions involved in shipping, new energy, high technology, and port and shipping intelligence, such as the China Container Industry Association, officially joined the Silk Road Maritime Alliance.
