An enterprise in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone recently signed a contract for the leasing project of the tourist vessel Yujian 77, marking the successful settlement of China's first all-electric sea tourist vessel in the Xiamen FTZ.

The settlement of the leased vessel Yujian 77 is an important measure taken by the pilot free zone to support the service industry through financial leasing and to promote the construction of a smart and green port in Xiamen Port.

The high cost of building tourist vessels has put significant financial pressure on many tourism operators. The leasing out of Yujian 77 by a leasing company not only helps to revitalize enterprise funds and reduce operating costs but also provides valuable experience for the industry in exploring financing and leasing models for tourist ships.

Yujian 77 is expected to commence operations in mid-2025. The vessel has a total length of 49 meters, a width of 14.5 meters, and a depth of 4.15 meters and is designed for sightseeing cruises, light catering operations, meetings, and chartered business events on the sea.
