Xiamen, a key hub for importing high-end aquatic products in China, has just concluded lasted three-and-a-half-month fishing ban. To celebrate, the "Beautiful Fishing Port" e-commerce lifestyle festival has kicked off at Gaoqi Fishing Port, a bustling global trading platform within the Xiamen Free Trade Zone. The festival is teeming with a diverse array of fresh seafood which further enriches the market supply and establishes a new landmark for aquatic products consumption.

Over 40 booths have been set up at the event venue, displaying a diverse range of well-known time-honored brands as well as Xiamen specialty products. In addition to these offerings, interactive experiences such as a Russian food tasting session and a Kamchatka sockeye salmon tasting event took turns wowing attendees.

This year's e-commerce lifestyle festival features a mix of online and offline activities to highlight a wide range of high-quality products. The offline event lasted two days, while the online live-streaming activities will continue for a month until Sept 16.

The Xiamen trading platform for global aquatic products is a key platform developed within the Xiamen FTZ. Last year, the market transaction volume of the Xiamen International Seafood Trading Platform was 10.2 billion yuan ($1.43 billion), with nearly 5 billion yuan attributed to the sales of imported high-end seafood products.
