The game Black Myth: Wukong was recently launched simultaneously across global gaming platforms, quickly becoming the top-selling game on multiple platforms.
Independently developed by Chinese developers, the game showcases a high level of research and development capability as well as game publishing integration. Its success is expected to attract more attention to Chinese developers and the Chinese gaming industry.
At gamescom, alongside Black Myth: Wukong, Whisper Games, a company based in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone's national cultural export base, made its mark. Whisper Game specializes in product development, copyright agency, consulting, and cultural and artistic exchange for global developers.
At the event, Whisper Games showcased original Chinese PC games such as The Nameless: Slay Dragon and Paraside: Duality Unbound, both of which are set to be released on the Steam platform, at gamescom. The company attracted significant interest and attention from both players and media present at the event.
The company has collaborated with manufacturers from over 20 countries and regions globally, focusing on international platforms. They have participated in the joint distribution and provision of specialized services for over 160 works.
The Xiamen FTZ's national cultural export base adheres to the concept of integrating "culture + digital", leveraging digital technology to empower the cultural industry and promote international cultural dissemination.
