During the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), the Xiamen Free Trade Zone focused on promoting the development of key industries. It signed agreements for 66 projects with a total investment of 59.19 billion yuan ($8.31 billion), including five foreign projects with a total foreign investment of $152 million.
On Sept 9, the signing ceremony for key projects in Xiamen FTZ and the planned entry projects of the Fujian Innovation Base of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense Information Center was held at the Aerospace Human Resources Industrial Park.
The signing ceremony involved 15 projects in various fields, such as cultural trade, new energy vehicle exports, aviation engineering, integrated circuits, high-end manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, and international trade.
The Aerospace Human Resources Industrial Park Service Center was officially launched at the event.
On Sept 10, SCO Yongding (Xiamen) Group landed a project in Xiamen FTZ. The project will see SCO Yongding Group and Huaneng Xiongfei (Beijing) Renewables Co Ltd engage in comprehensive cooperation in integrated energy services and the development and construction of photovoltaic and wind power projects both domestically and internationally.
Huaneng Xiongfei (Beijing) Renewables Co Ltd plans to invest heavily in offshore and onshore wind and solar energy storage projects within the next five years, with a priority focus on the ports of Xiamen FTZ.
