A train loaded with daily necessities recently departed from the supervision site of Xiamen International Logistics Port and exited through the Manzhouli Port, headed for Russia's Tolyatti. All 55 40-foot containers of goods on the train were declared using the "railway fast track" model at Xiamen Port, enabling quick customs clearance.
This is the first time in Fujian province that an entire train has been cleared through customs using the "railway fast track" model for China-Europe (Xiamen) Railway Express.
Upon learning that the train operating company had a large quantity of daily necessities to be shipped to Russia via the China-Europe (Xiamen) Railway Express, the Xiamen Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee coordinated with Haicang Customs. They helped the train operation platform to connect with the cargo owner companies, implementing the "railway fast track" declaration model for the entire train.
This ensured that the batch of goods could be cleared through customs at Xiamen Port as quickly as possible. Upon arrival at the destination port, the goods only needed to undergo railway transshipment before being shipped out, reducing the overall customs clearance time by one to two days compared to previous declaration modes.
