The 2024 Civil Aviation Materials Development Conference opened in Xiamen. Over 200 representatives from more than 70 entities including industry regulatory bodies, aircraft material manufacturers, and airlines gathered to discuss the establishment of a healthy ecosystem for civil aviation material support.
At the conference, the establishment of the China Civil Aviation Equipment Industry Development Alliance was announced. The formation of this alliance in Xiamen signifies a new phase for China's civil aviation materials sector.
Seizing this opportunity, the Xiamen Free Trade Zone will strengthen cooperation and exchanges between aviation material companies and aircraft maintenance enterprises to jointly drive innovation and development in the civil aviation materials industry.
Xiamen Iport Group and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will engage in comprehensive strategic cooperation in areas such as aviation material transactions, engine leasing, and manufacturing.
The conference featured multiple speeches, where speakers focused on key issues in the aviation material supply chain from various perspectives, such as industry observations, demand observations, and supply observations.
Additionally, the conference featured field visits to HAECO Xiamen, Xiamen Gaoqi Aviation Industrial Park, and other locations for on-site research to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between aviation material companies and aircraft maintenance enterprises.
Xiamen FTZ has placed high importance on the development of the aviation industry, creating a conducive environment for industrial growth. These efforts have resulted in the establishment of an important "one-stop" aviation maintenance base in China.
