The Xiamen Free Trade Zone and the Jingdezhen National Ceramic Cultural Inheritance and Innovation Experimental Zone signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, on Dec 25. The two zones joined hands to initiate regional coordinated development.
Moving forwards, they'll leverage each other's strengths, support one another, and establish a new mode of cooperation in creative designs, copyright collaborations, product sales, cultural heritages, and more.
The aim is to construct a new platform for exhibitions and exchanges, contributing to the recounting of contemporary Chinese stories and the promotion of Chinese culture internationally.
During the event, cultural enterprises from both regions also reached out to each other.
Representatives from Jingdezhen Taobo City Co Ltd, Beijing Phoenix Shangpin Cultural Communication Co Ltd, Xiamen Phoenix Art Technology Co Ltd and other companies signed a strategic agreement for inter-regional enterprise collaborations.
Next, plans are for the two parties to leverage their respective strengths to jointly promote the development of cultural industries and cultural exchanges in their respective regions.
Xiamen FTZ has innovatively established a national cultural export base and other high-quality platforms for overseas expansion, connecting with the China-Europe Railway Express and the Silk Road Maritime for outbound exchanges.
Leveraging special features such as its "bonded, supply chain, finance + culture", it will further boost the overseas expansion of high-quality cultural products.
