The 2025 Xiamen New Display and Integrated Circuit Industry "Four-Chain Integration" Project Matchmaking Conference was held on March 24. During the event, 14 high-value projects including Hisense Semiconductor, Q Technology, and Shenzhen New way Photomask Making Co Ltd were signed, with a total investment of 12.87 billion yuan ($1.78 billion).
The Xiamen Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee and Xiamen Jinlong Intelligent Technology Co Ltd signed a contract on-site for the digital intelligent power research and development and manufacturing base project. The project aims to establish a processing and manufacturing base for intelligent components supply, smart control product development, and industry intelligence upgrade services, to expand into global markets. The projects signed on-site have high technological content, focusing on strengthening the supply chain, filling gaps, and extending the value chain. They are of great significance in enhancing the resilience of Xiamen's new display industry and integrated circuit industry, shaping new development momentum and advantages.
The integrated circuit industry is one of the key platform industries for development in the Xiamen FTZ. Following the "platform + base" development model, it empowers the thriving development of the IC industry, leading to the formation of an industry cluster in the Gaoqi Park primarily consisting of IC design enterprises.
