The 2025 Job Fair for Foreigners in Beijing (Xiamen focus) made its debut on June 22, extending a warm invitation to outstanding talent from around the globe. The event attracted over 250 foreign professionals from more than 50 countries, including France, Singapore, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, for in-depth discussions and networking opportunities.

The gathering highlighted Xiamen's appeal as a high-quality, vibrant, modern, and international city, reinforcing its commitment to becoming a top destination for global talent.

Leading enterprises and institutions including C&D Corporation, Luckin Coffee, and Xiamen University showcased their international talent needs spanning modern industries like electronic information and commercial logistics as well as social sectors such as academic research and international education.

The event focused on recruiting urgently needed foreign professionals such as R&D engineers, algorithm engineers, and overseas marketing directors, with top annual salaries reaching 800,000 yuan ($111,297).

The fair offered highly competitive positions, facilitating 69 preliminary employment agreements between international professionals and key enterprises. This success demonstrates precise alignment between global talent and Xiamen's industrial upgrading needs.

In addition to on-site recruitment, all positions will be posted on online platforms including Xiamen Talent. Moving forward, Xiamen will expand the collection of foreign talent demand across industries, and continue to facilitate recruitment through overseas job fairs and invitation programs for international professionals to visit the city.

Xiamen has established a multi-tiered, comprehensive, and robust talent policy system that remains fully accessible to international professionals. The city offers generous living subsidies or newly recruited foreign talent working in Xiamen for at least three months: PhD holders qualify for 80,000 yuan, master's degree recipients for 50,000 yuan, bachelor's graduates from "Double First-Class" universities for 30,000 yuan, and other undergraduates for 10,000 yuan.
