The finals of the 7th China Aerospace Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held in Xiamen on Jan 29, with a focus on the transformation of advanced aerospace technologies and their cross-disciplinary applications.
A key highlight of the event, which aims to establish a platform for technology integration, exchange, and collaboration, and uncover advanced technological outcomes, was the signing of cooperation intentions between 20 enterprises — including Lunfine, Beijing Hangxing Machinery Manufacturing Co, and Beijing Aerospace Kaien New Material Co — and the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, Huli district, and the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
These companies span multiple strategic emerging fields, including commercial aerospace, new energy and materials, artificial intelligence, smart equipment, and healthcare. Using their technological strengths and innovative capabilities, they will collaborate with local industrial resources in Xiamen to transform aerospace technological achievements and integrate them across domains.
The decision to host the competition in Xiamen not only reflects recognition of the city's existing aerospace industry foundations but also represents an innovative effort to accelerate resource integration. This is further enhanced by utilizing the institutional advantages of the Xiamen FTZ and its integrated cultivation model, which links scientific innovation, competition, funding, and industrial bases.
