Robots wowed visitors at the newly opened Yuanqi Innovation Robot Exhibition Center in Xiamen FTZ. "Lingxi" performed a smooth and powerful Liancheng boxing routine, "Yuanzheng" wrote the character "Fu" with a brush, and "Jingling" deftly sorted balls, plush toys, and cans.
Located at the national-level "Xinhuo" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Xiangyu Park, the center has been drawing a steady stream of visitors eager to witness the real-world potential of intelligent robotics.
The center was established to bridge the gap between technology and the market, connecting products with real-world demand. Founded in September last year, Yuanqi Innovation Robot Co Ltd focuses on providing solutions for robot applications, the secondary development of use-case scenarios, and the R&D and sales of robot-related merchandise. It also collaborates with the Embodied AI Lab at Xiamen University to tailor solutions to the specific needs of clients.

Over the course of just a few months, Yuanqi has delivered over 100 customized robots, with several hundred more on order. Its business now covers major cities across China and has expanded into Southeast Asian markets.
In Xiamen, intelligent robots are being rapidly adopted in a wide range of real-world scenarios — powering everything from commercial services and security patrols to cultural entertainment.
As the embodied intelligence industry moves from the lab toward commercialization, more and more Xiamen-based companies are entering the robotics space. So far, the city is home to more than 20,000 robotics-related businesses, the highest concentration in Fujian province.
