The lineup of "Made in China" products going global has continued to expand this year. Robotics, artificial intelligence, and innovative drugs — three sectors that represent the future of industry — have become new drivers of China's foreign trade.
In the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, industries such as embodied intelligence robotics are growing steadily. Supported by favorable institutional policies and a comprehensive industrial ecosystem, a number of local tech companies have entered global markets and are gaining international recognition.
At the incubation accelerator of National Xinhuo Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone within the Xiamen FTZ, engineers from Yuanqi Innovation Robot, were conducting scenario-based training with their robots in the testing area.
As a provider of intelligent robotics solutions, the company works closely with Xiamen University's Embodied Intelligence Lab. Its core offerings include customizable humanoid robots, fire inspection robots, and commercial cleaning robots, and it has already expanded into Southeast Asian markets including Singapore and Vietnam.

The rapid rise of these enterprises is underpinned by the robust innovation incubation infrastructure. Since its launch in November 2025, the accelerator has been dedicated to core hard-tech fields such as IC design, AI, and intelligent robotics, providing resident companies with comprehensive, end-to-end services ranging from policy consultation and IP management to industrial chain resource matching.
Currently, 12 rapidly expanding tech companies are based in the accelerator, collectively producing over 60 million yuan ($8.89 million). Initial signs of industrial agglomeration are already evident.
